How much does it cost?
There is no charge for admission to TroyFest, thanks in large part to our sponsors and awarded grants. But don't leave your wallet at home! In addition to the wonderful selection of arts, crafts, food, services & wares, a variety of activities require purchasing a ticket.

I don't see any water, where is Jean Lake?
Jean Lake is no local swimming hole! She was a native of Troy and a well recognized folk artist. Formerly, the Jean Lake Arts & Crafts Show, TroyFest is held in memory of Jean Thompson Lake. Her contributions to our community and the primitive art world will never be forgotten. For more information on Jean Lake visit www.troyfest.com/history.

What happens if it rains?
TroyFest is held rain or shine! Historically, TroyFest has been blessed with beautiful spring days; however, downtown Troy can be windy. In the case of in climate weather there is no other venue and the vendors will have the option to leave. Remember most vendors have tents and mild spring showers shouldn't keep you at home!

Can I volunteer?
Absolutely! TroyFest is the direct handiwork of creative & energetic volunteers. The committee is appointed from the presenting organizations, however we need volunteers to work the various areas of the festival throughout the weekend. We are more than happy to provide credit for community service hours as well. You'll have lots of fun, get a free t-shirt & participate in the premier arts festival for our community. So come & join us! To sign up, email sbaker@troycable.net

Where do I park?
Spaces are available at the Pike County Courthouse, United Methodist Church, First Baptist Church, Troy Public Library, the Municipal Complex and in designated spaces along the adjacent streets. Please be aware of any private parking lots that may have warnings posted. TroyFest does not charge or reserve parking.

Can I bring my dog?
TroyFest is family friendly and we certainly recognize family members of the canine-variety, please keep in mind that grassy areas are limited and streets can be crowded. Leashes are required and you'll be responsible for cleaning up after your pooch. Please be respectful of vendor areas.

Can I bring a stroller?
Yes-however you will want to be mindful of close areas and leave strollers outside of vendor tents while browsing inside.

Who plans TroyFest?
The festival, presented by the City of Troy, Pike County Chamber of Commerce and Troy Arts Council, is planned each year by a volunteer planning committee. So when you see those folks in the staff shirts, be sure to thank them!

I just love those fun t-shirts I see every year. Where can I buy one?
TroyFest Merchandise tent will be set-up in the middle of the square near Festival Headquarter. Along with t-shirts, you can get your annual commemorative TroyFest poster, depicting the Best of Show winner. The poster is suitable for framing and is a collectible for each year.
